Denji is the protagonist of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man manga series.

He is a human teenager with the ability to transform into the devil-man hybrid known as Chainsaw Man by pulling a cord across his chest.

As a devil hunter for public safety, Denji is hired by the leader of the Tokyo Special Division 4, Makima, to fight alongside its members.

Denji is the main protagonist of the first part of the series, the Public Safety arc, and has a major supporting role in the second part of it.
