Batman: Arkham Origins is the latest blockbuster game in the Batman: Arkham video game franchise.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game takes place several years before Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.



A time when Gotham City's most dangerous criminals are on the rise, and a younger, more serious Batman is about to embark on a career as a crime fighter.

In the story, players will experience the first meeting between the young Dark Knight and his later nemeses.

- The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features a new single-player mode written by Dooma Wendschuh and Corey May, with advice from Geoff Johns.
- Players take on the role of a young Batman and will encounter many super villains for the first time in Batman's career. This is decisive for his future.
- Enhanced Detective Mode: Batman's detective skills are tested like never before with an all-new crime scene system that allows players to search for evidence to retrieve key information.
- Players use a cross between Batman and the Bat Computer to digitally recreate crime scenes, allowing them to find clues that normal eyes would miss.
- Gotham City Like Never Before: Explore the areas of Gotham City before it became Arkham City and experience all new areas and other iconic locations.



- Dynamic and rich environments are filled with various enemies, crimes in progress and other content that is difficult to explore and engage.
- Most Wanted Side Quests: Hunt down villains connected to, but not part of, the main story. It's the player's choice if and when they want to complete it.
- New Enemies: Encounter new enemies like Armored Enforcer and Martial Artist that challenge fans to approach FreeFlow Combat in different ways.
- New Gadget: Use an arsenal of familiar gadgets from previous Batman: Arkham games, as well as new items like the Remote Claw.
- Batman can attach enemies to each other or to objects for quick takedowns using the Remote Claw.
- New and familiar characters: Meet the full cast of iconic DC Comics characters, including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Anarky, Captain Gordon, Joker and more.
