Similar to previous games in the MX vs. ATV, the game in Reflex revolves around multiplayer games (with 12 players) in a wide range of types of off-road events.

These events encompass everything from motocross, supercross, omnicross and more and also have a high level of trick completion, judged with several parameters in mind.

The vehicles used in the races run the gamut from MX specific motorcycles and ATVs, to super luggage and trucks.

Gameplay in dirt-covered environments requires skill and courage to master. Along with the new Rhythm Racing 2.0 physics engine, MX vs. ATV: Reflex helps players get a new control scheme, Rider Reflex, in these areas.
