The Sun Crossword Challenge is a collection of 510 crosswords that players must solve based on one of the UK's most prestigious tabloid newspapers.

The game gives players the option to solve puzzles with either "Coffee-Time" (simple clues) or "Cryptic" (a crossword clue that can be found within itself and will require a lot of brainpower).



Characteristics:

- Main menu and in-game options include choosing your favorite background music.
- Error checking either after completing a puzzle or automatically, and choosing the player's preferred handwriting orientation (left or right handed).
- When solving a crossword puzzle, players must use the stylus to enter letters on the grid using one of two preferred methods: Handwriting and Keyboard.
- The writing consists in the action of the players to draw each letter in the character input box, one by one.



- The keyboard is used when players have to touch the letters on the touch screen arranged like a computer keyboard, one by one, on the grid.
- During the game, the Undo and Redo buttons can be used at any time, as well as the eraser to erase any incorrect letters.
- All letters in each crossword must be entered using the Pen icon, although the Pencil icon can also be used to write any letters.
- Hints can also be used at any time, but they cost players one minute to complete the puzzles.
