In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a dangerous jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest moment.

As she races to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse, Lara will eventually be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.



There are numerous tweaks to the gameplay, which is otherwise identical to Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The swimming controls have been revised, as Lara is able to hold her breath underwater for a longer period of time thanks to the introduction of air pockets.

She has the ability to abseil down a cliff using her climbing ax and rope.
