Shishimai Rinka was a high school student who ran a small cafe called Lion House in her grandmother's place.

She was living her life like any other person her age, but one day she was caught in an explosion while returning home on the train with her friend, Hitsuji Naomi.

In an attempt to save her friend's life, she instinctively shields her as the explosion goes off, losing her life in the process.

However, before she knows it, she is back at the Lion House, chatting happily with her friends as if nothing had happened.
