Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is a Japanese-anime style 2D beat'em up and can be played with multiplayer in co-op, VS, local or online! A side-scrolling beat 'em up with the heart and soul of a fighting game!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo. The mysterious man, Phantom, operated in the shadows to regain his immense powers, which had been sealed away.

He granted a weapon called the FA (Fu-mension Artifact) to talented youths and lured them into battle by promising to grant their wish if they won the battle.



This is because the collision between the FAs will generate a distortion in space and time, creating an opening that leads to an alternate world. This opening will eventually reveal his powers.

Waka, the young daughter of the Kumon family belonging to a clan of exorcists rebelling against the Phantom, and Mikoto, who offered her cooperation, tried to stop this conspiracy, but lost before they could defeat him. Additionally, Waka's younger sister, Nagi, was kidnapped by the Phantom.

Itsuki, who yearns to become a hero of justice, and Yuzuha, a ninja who once managed to escape Phantom's seduction, also join the fray, and the 4 girls embark on a quest to track down Phantom and to save Nagi.
