In PopStar Guitar, players embark on a journey as budding guitarists with aspirations of becoming the ultimate pop sensation.

Throughout the game, players develop skills to help them achieve their goal of hitting the main stage of a global Battle of the Bands competition that will bring them international stardom.

In career mode, the player will start out as a member of a garage band, before going on tour through the 25 different locations in the game before performing at the Battle Of The Bands.



The game has 12 playable characters (6 male/6 female) to choose from, and players can customize their appearance and the instruments they play.

The game plays similar to other music games, with players trying to press buttons while following notes that scroll across the screen.

The Wii version will come bundled with an AirG controller shell, allowing players to play air guitar style using just the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
