The penguins of Madagascar are back and this time they are the stars of their own game! Based on the upcoming film The Penguins of Madagascar, the game follows the adventures of Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private in search of their beloved Cheezy Dibbles.
The Penguins travel from their Tiki home base to locales such as Fort Knox, JFK Airport and Monte Carlo in an attempt to enact Dave's evil plans.
Penguins of Madagascar is a safe platformer where players take on the role of any of the four penguin heroes and instantly switch between them depending on the situation encountered.



For example, Rico, a demolitions expert, can throw down specific walls while Skipper, a martial arts expert, can perform a Stun Slap that temporarily interrupts enemy Octopi.
The penguins also use various environmental objects such as trampolines, moving platforms and conveyor belts to further progress in their mission.
As the penguins progress, more of Dave's sinister intentions will be revealed, and many Cheezy Dibbles will be collected along the way.



The gameplay can get quite confusing at times. For an experience that is - on the surface - relatively easy, wandering through a maze of rooms and offices on multiple floors can become quite disorienting.
There is no map, so instead your memory and "spot the difference" skills may be needed to discern one area from another.
Frustratingly, progress is often made only to find a dead end filled with a stash of cheesy potato snacks.
Collecting these will fill some of the optional bonus requirements that can be viewed from the start menu (detected times, finishing under a certain time, etc.), but in the grand scheme of things they're rather pointless, despite the game's initial plot.
