Left 4 Dead is a co-op horror game that pits up to four players in an epic battle for survival against hordes of zombies and terrifying mutant monsters lurking everywhere.

The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe full of zombies. In the game's co-op survival mode, survivors are forced to make their way through the infected in four unique "movies".

Survivors will move across the rooftops of an abandoned metropolis, reach rural ghost towns and sinister forests to escape this outbreak of infection.



Each "movie" consists of five large maps and can be played by up to four players, with an emphasis on teamwork.

New technology called "AI Director" is used to generate unique experiences for each game session.

Like a Hollywood horror movie, the system offers a glimmer of hope and controls the frequency and ferocity of the zombie hordes' attacks based on your performance.
