Years after defeating Gnasty Gnorc, Spyro the Dragon and his dragonfly partner Sparx, fed up with the constant rain in Artisans, decide to take a vacation at Dragon Shores.

After passing through the portal, however, Spyro instead ends up in Glimmer, one of the many realms of the Avalar fantasy realm, being summoned there by Elora the Faun, Hunter the Cheetah, and the Professor.

The concept for this statue is inspired by the official cover art of the classic Spyro 2 video game, from Spyro's posture to the design of the vinyl base.
