Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends for PlayStation 3 is a stand-alone expansion of the game Dynasty Warriors 8, which was released in July 2013 and which registered an impressive success.

The game includes new episodes that will come as an addition to the story of the Three Kingdoms.

The action of the game has Lu Bu, the strongest warrior, in the foreground.



Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends includes 5 new characters, giving players the opportunity to choose one of 82 available warriors.

The Free mode has been improved and includes, among other things, the "Ultimate" difficulty level.

Xtreme Legends includes a series of hypothetical scenarios that influence the outcome of episodes in the Romance of the Tree Kingdoms game mode, the extended Ambition game mode and the popular Challenge mode.



Characteristics:

- Includes a revamped bodyguard system that allows players to bring up to three bodyguards.
- Players have the option to manually activate Storm Rush attacks by tapping and simultaneously.
- Added a new option that allows players to only see the enemy general's health bar.
- Level cap is now 150 instead of 99.
- Includes new 6th new weapon for each weapon type, as well as a new "Ultimate" difficulty mode.
