700 years before the events in YS I and II, Ys's country is on the brink of destruction. The demons came up and forced the twin goddrances that led the country to remove their subjects in the safe hug. Demons were persistent, however, raising a massive pursuit. The battle that broke on the ground began to climb for a second round up.

One day, in the middle of this trouble, the goddesses stolen in the night, disappearing totally from Ys. And it could only have been going only one place: the devil's tower.

A knights and wizard search group was in a hurry and was sent to the surface in the hope of recovering these fugitive deities. Among his members were the Knight Yunica Tovah and the Hugo Fact troubled wizard.

This is their story. Or at least how each of them remembers.

Extending on the game elements introduced into YS: The Ark of Napishtim and further developed in YS: The Oath in Felghana, YS Origin perfects the formula by adding different game styles and new unamarded features so far in the YS universe.
