Demons of Asteborg is an original and challenging new 2D game that combines action, small puzzles and strategy. This 16-bit game will bring back many memories for retro fans.

A long time ago, a war broke out in Asteborg Kingdom, pitting humans and demons in a bloody battle. Sagramor, a powerful mercenary, and Maria, a witch with battle magic, joined forces to defeat the demonic army.

Sagramor found a way to imprison the demons in an alternate dimension at the cost of his own life. His sacrifice earned him the title of "Legend of Asteborg".

Shortly before the end of the war, Maria gave birth to a child named Gareth. She died 4 years later.



Gareth was then taken into the care of the royal orphanage, and Bohort, the leader of the armed forces, saw in him invaluable potential. He trained him from a young age to become a formidable warrior.

Decades later, Zadimus, the former demon leader who survived the great war, found a way to reopen the portal to the parallel dimension to free his fellow demons and declare war on the humans to retake the Kingdom of Asteborg.

As Gareth, now the royal guard of Asteborg, you will embark on an adventure, facing the lands of the kingdom and its dangerous lands populated by bloodthirsty monsters.

Along the way, you will learn more and more about the ancient war and about your identity. But be careful, Zadimus won't let you escape.
