Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original story that takes place several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Taking place before the emergence of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game features a young, raw and unrefined Batman who faces a defining moment in his early crime-fighting career that sets him on a path to become the Black Knight.

Arkham Origins features a pivotal story that takes place on Christmas Eve, where Batman is hunted by eight of the most dangerous assassins in the DC Comics universe.

Players become an early-career Batman as he meets for the first time many of the characters that will shape his future.
