Sabo is the chief of staff of the Revolutionary Army, being no. 2 in the entire organization and surpassed only by Supreme Commander Monkey D. Dragon.

He is also the sworn brother of the famous pirates Monkey D. Luffy and the late Portgas D. Ace.

Raised into nobility by his parents Outlook III and Didit in the Kingdom of Goa.

Sabo ran away at the age of 10 with the intention of becoming a pirate and writing a book about his travels.
