World End Syndrome is a visual novel romantic adventure game created by a collaboration between Arc System Works and TOYBOX.

World End Syndrome follows the story of a 17-year-old high school student trying to escape his troubled past.



Characteristics:

- After causing an accident that led to the loss of his older sister, he receives an invitation to transfer to Mihate high school.
- He accepts it with gratitude, hoping to start a new life and forget his past.
- But the city of Mihate is not the coastal paradise it seems to be, it is the home of the legend Yomibito.
- Once resurrected, Yomibito attack the living to regain their sanity.
- This year happens to be 100 years since the last known incident.
