Far Cry:

A tropical paradise is seething with hidden evil in Far Cry, a cunningly detailed action game that pushes the boundaries of combat to shocking new levels.

Freelance sailor Jack Carver curses the day he came to this island.

A week ago, an intrepid reporter named Valerie offered her an incredible amount of money to take her to this untouched paradise.



Shortly after docking, however, Jack's boat is met with artillery fire from a mysterious militia group roaming the island.

With the boat destroyed, the money lost and the beautiful Valerie suddenly gone, Jack now faces an army of mercenaries in the wilds of the island with only a gun and his wits to survive.
