One day, on the island where the Yoshis live, a talking encyclopedia named Mr. E suddenly falls from the sky.

Its pages are full of creatures waiting to be discovered, so Yoshi sets out to learn all about them.

While examining the creatures, Yoshi can eat them, jump on them or even carry them on his back.

Use Yoshi's abilities to discover all sorts of characteristics of the inhabitants of Mr. E's pages.

Some make flowers bloom, others blow bubbles, each new discovery opens new avenues of exploration and brings even more surprises!
