He takes on the role of first-year college student Doppo Akazawa, who has joined the Mystery Research Club.

The Club's first investigative mission leads them to Narumizawa to investigate the 30-year-old murder case of a famous landscape artist.

Although irregularities were discovered and the main suspect apparently died in a suicide, the case was closed.
